Supercharging You

The Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands (PPCI) is excited to welcome Robin Martin, Principal of Thrive Coaching & Consulting Group, as our featured speaker at our upcoming educational meeting with lunch provided! Please join us in-person on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 at 11:45 a.m. at (NEW location) Alberto’s Ristorante at 360 Main St in Hyannis. A three-course plated menu with a choice of chicken, seafood, or pasta will be served and followed immediately by the presentation.

Supercharging You

As development professionals, we spend much of our time “giving to” our organizations and donors. So much of our energy is expended on inspiring others. We are givers by nature, but—at the end of the day—can we always give and never refuel ourselves? We are living in complex and uncertain times where distraction, fatigue, and fragmentation are the norm. This takes a serious toll on our mental, physical, and emotional health.  Learning how to re-energize and re-engage ourselves in a post-COVID workplace is critical. Before we can lead others, we need to lead ourselves.

In this workshop, we will define practices and habits that can help us manage stress, avoid burnout, and create the conditions to fuel the life and impact we desire. The first step involves an awareness of our own brain and body systems and the resources we can access to shift our energy, mindset, and overall wellness. We can then start to reimagine what is possible, create a compelling vision, and step into a way of operating that is more meaningful and sustainable.

Your own self-care affects you, your team, your colleagues, and your outcomes. It affects your ability to raise transformative gifts for your mission. It affects your ability to develop deep and meaningful relationships—not just with donors, but with all those professionals who are critical to your success. Supercharging You is about leveraging tools and techniques to embrace your full agency and make decisions to catalyze your best self, so you can thrive.

This event is FREE to attend with advance registration for current PPCI members; and $35 per person for guests/non-members.

IMPORTANT: Please note the venue change to Alberto’s Ristorante and register before Monday, June 13th as seating is limited.

Registration is Closed

NOTE: If you renew your membership or join during registration of this event, you may register and attend as a PPCI member!
