New! We are reimagining and rebuilding so, this year’s event has been modified to a half-day format with TWO powerful keynote speakers and plenty of time for networking!
We are excited to announce that our Keynote Speakers are Ashley Stanley of Lovin’ Spoonfuls and Annie Knickman Plancher of Social Finance. Networking breakout sessions will also be incorporated in the virtual format taking place from 9 a.m. to noon.
2021 Keynote Speakers
Ashley Stanley is the founder of Lovin’ Spoonfuls, an organization that has rescued and brought more than 21 million pounds of fresh, healthy food into the social service stream across Massachusetts in the last 10 years. She will present “Leadership Now: Before and After COVID Changed Everything.” Ashley has created unparalleled awareness for food rescue, with a dedication to hunger relief, climate change, and health equity.
Annie Knickman Plancher
Annie Knickman Plancher is the Vice President of Staff and Strategy at Social Finance, a national impact finance and advisory nonprofit working with public, private, and social sectors to build innovative partnerships and investments that measurably improve lives. Annie will address the opportunities for nonprofits created by the growing interest in investing for both financial return and philanthropic goals.
* Note: While this year’s event was originally slated to be held in-person, due to the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 crisis, the board of directors with full support from the event planning committee, has made the decision to hold this year’s Philanthropy Day virtually for the health and safety of guests.
