Each year hundreds of professionals from non-profit organizations on Cape Cod and the Islands, their volunteers and board members, as well as professional advisors such as attorneys, estate planners, financial advisors and accountants attend the event to share current best practices in fundraising and celebrate charitable giving in the spirit of philanthropy on Cape Cod and the Islands.
The 26th annual Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod featured James Morton, retired President and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Boston, as our keynote speaker. With a wealth of leadership experience and a captivating personal journey, Morton shared his insights on how the first 30 years of his life significantly influenced his second 30 years. In this thought-provoking talk, he explored the driving forces behind leadership, the power of personal stories, and how our life experiences shape our actions as leaders. Attendees gained valuable wisdom from a distinguished leader dedicated to fostering potential, promoting social responsibility, and advancing diversity and inclusion.
