The Neighbors Fund is seeking an engaging, relationship-driven Director of Development to lead our fundraising program and community storytelling. This role is opening as our current Director of Development retires at the end of the year, transitioning to a part-time role managing our grants program.
We are looking for the right fit: someone who understands Cape Cod and its unique community, loves building relationships, and isn’t afraid to “make the ask” on behalf of our neighbors in need. An ideal candidate is a people-person and an ideas person who can both strategize and follow through.
Working closely with the Executive Director and Board, this is a hands-on role focused on individual giving, major gifts, corporate partnerships, and appeals. While development experience is fantastic, we can teach the mechanics if needed. We welcome candidates with transferable skills from business, sales, marketing, or corporate impact.
