Damien’s Food Pantry is seeking an energized, community-oriented individual to fill the position of Executive Director. The ideal candidate is passionate about food security, poverty issues, and community. They have a background in leading nonprofits, ideally around food security. They understand the social systems that perpetuate hunger in our community and in the greater state of Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will succeed in fundraising experience that includes activating government, individual, and philanthropic funders.
As the leader of a growing organization, the Executive Director plays many roles to support the growth and direction of the organization. These roles include fundraising, volunteer stewardship, strategic planning, fostering community relations, and working with the Board of Directors and other stakeholders to determine the organization’s future.

Located in Southeastern Massachusetts, Damien’s Food Pantry is a nonprofit organization serving households in the Bristol, Plymouth, and Barnstable counties by providing food to people experiencing food insecurity, promoting education and hunger awareness in our community, and providing information to guests regarding other community resources, welcoming people of every age, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, ability, marital status, sexual orientation, or any status, including housed status, without discrimination.
