Assistant/Associate Director of Events and Community Programming: Marine Biological Laboratory

The Assistant/Associate Director of Events and Community Programming reports to the Chief Advancement Officer and is responsible for planning and coordinating a variety of events that enhance constituent engagement and support the strategic goals of the Marine Biological Laboratory. The position manages the demands of planning and execution of small- and large-scale events for varied constituencies and requires diplomatic interaction with the highest level of MBL and University of Chicago leadership including the Director, Board of Trustees and visiting VIPs as well as staff, students and faculty.
