About Our Presenter
Jennifer Curran
Development Advisor, Pleasant Bay Community BoatingJennifer Curran is the Development and Communications Director at Pleasant Bay Community Boating. Following her passion for helping others, she pursued a degree from the University of New Hampshire in Child and Family Studies. Upon graduating, she worked as Social Services Coordinator for regional Head Start programs. Through this work, she quickly learned that funding for community programs was one of the biggest challenges and began a career in fundraising.
With over 30 years of nonprofit experience and deep roots on Cape Cod, Jennifer’s career spans a variety of roles, from professional positions to volunteer leadership, including extensive fundraising experience across New England. Her previous roles include Director of Development for the Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance and Events Coordinator at Hope Health.
She currently serves on the board as President for the Philanthropy Partners of Cape Cod and the Islands, bringing her passion for community support and development to the role. When she’s not working, Jennifer enjoys spending time outdoors, coaching skating, and volunteering with youth programs.
