Cynthia Cotton, CFRE

Executive Director, Osterville Village Library

Cyndy Cotton is the innovative Executive Director at the Osterville Village Library, bringing over a decade of experience in strategic fundraising, donor stewardship, and nonprofit leadership. Known for her creativity, compassion, and relationship-building skills, Cyndy has successfully transformed the library into a cultural and innovation center significantly impacting the Cape Cod community.

Cynthia’s passion for collaboration and human rights is reflected in her numerous awards, including the 2024 Church Women United Human Rights Award, the 2023 EforAll Marathon Award, and the 2022 INP’s Changemaker Award. Her resilience and creativity during the COVID-19 and work since the pandemic earned her the 2021 Massachusetts Statehouse Citation and anther in 2024 along with the Southeastern MA Red Cross Community Leader Award.

With a strong educational background, including a Certificate in Financial Success for Nonprofits from Cornell University and a Certificate in Professional Fundraising from Boston University, Cynthia is well-equipped to drive impactful fundraising strategies. She holds a B.A. in Business from Pine Manor College and has completed a certificate program for social impact executives at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice.
