Welcomes Two New Board Members at January Annual Meeting

Yarmouth Port, MA | January 22, 2026 – Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands (PPCI) is pleased to announce the election of two new members to its Board of Directors, approved at the organization’s Annual Meeting held on Wednesday, January 22nd at the Pelham House Resort in Dennis Port.

Joining the board are Jackie Barber and Tracy O’Neill both of whom bring valuable experience, perspective, and commitment to supporting Cape Cod nonprofits. Their appointments strengthen the board’s leadership and help advance PPCI’s ongoing work

Jackie Barber currently serves as Community Outreach & Administration Manager at Cape and Islands United Way, where she applies more than 30 years of customer-service experience to support the organization’s programs and community initiatives. She brings expertise in community outreach, nonprofit administration, and customer service, and has been actively involved with Cape and Islands United Way through the Community Impact Committee and as a Big Sister mentor. In addition, she has contributed her time and leadership to PPCI’s Philanthropy Day Committee, further demonstrating her commitment to strengthening the nonprofit sector.

Tracy O’Neill is Founder and CEO at Two Crows Creative Group, where she works with Cape Cod nonprofits and small businesses to strengthen their marketing, communications, and branding. She brings extensive experience in marketing and content development and has demonstrated a strong commitment to the nonprofit sector through her work with community-focused organizations

“We are entering an exciting and important year for Philanthropy Partners of Cape & Islands,” said Cyndy Cotton, Incoming President of PPCI. “With the addition of new board members and a renewed focus on education and collaboration, we are strengthening our ability to support Cape Cod’s nonprofit community. Our goal is to provide practical, timely programs that help organizations build capacity, adapt to change, and ultimately better serve the Cape & Islands.”

The new board members will begin their terms immediately following the Annual Meeting and will serve alongside current board leadership to guide the organization’s strategic direction and governance.

Also, during the annual meeting the following board members were elected for one-year terms as PPCI Officers: President, Cyndy Cotton, CFRE of Osterville Village Library, who had been serving as Interim Board President; Vice-President, Sara Anton, CFRE of Cape Cod Community College Educational Foundation; Treasurer, Vanessa Greene of Cape Cod 5; and Clerk, Suzanne Lonergan of Cape Cod Maritime Museum.

The PPCI board further consists of Directors: Jennifer Allard of Mainsail Events & Marketing; Laura Cannata, Advancement Consultant for Community Development Partnership; Brigid Krug of Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance; and PJ Richardson of YMCA Cape Cod.
