Philanthropy Partners of Cape and Islands Seeks Nominations for its
2025 Distinguished Service to Philanthropy Awards

The Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands (PPCI) is pleased to invite the public to nominate Cape Cod and the Islands’ most charitable businesses and individuals for the 2025 Distinguished Service to Philanthropy Awards. These prestigious awards will be presented at the 28th Annual Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod, scheduled for November 19, 2025, at the Emerald Resort’s Hyport Conference Center in Hyannis (formerly The Resort and Conference Center). Nominations can be submitted online at www.capecodgiving.org by the deadline of June 13, 2025.

This renowned conference attracts hundreds of professional fundraisers, executive directors, board members, and volunteers from across the region. The awards recognize exceptional contributions in four categories: Philanthropist, Business/Organization, Volunteer, and Youth.“The Distinguished Service to Philanthropy awardees truly represent the heart and soul of what makes Cape Cod such a unique and inspiring place to live,” said Sara Anton, committee co-chair of Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod. “Philanthropy Day is our opportunity to honor these exceptional individuals and acknowledge the collective impact of their contributions. Now, more than ever, it is vital to celebrate the selflessness and generosity that strengthen the bonds within our remarkable community.”

The nomination deadline is June 13, 2025. Nonprofit community members are encouraged to collaborate on nominations, particularly for those who support multiple causes. Below are the award criteria:

Award Categories and Criteria:

Outstanding Philanthropist Award
Presented to an individual or family with a proven record of extraordinary generosity, demonstrated civic and charitable responsibility, and the ability to inspire others to embrace philanthropic leadership within the local community.

Outstanding Volunteer Award
Awarded to an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership skills and has shown outstanding commitment to philanthropy through fundraising or coordinating community involvement to benefit Cape Cod and the Islands.

Outstanding Business/Organization Award
Given to a business or organization that has shown exceptional commitment through financial support and by motivating others to take leadership roles in philanthropy and community involvement, particularly in response to local needs.

Outstanding Youth/Youth Organization
Presented to a youth or youth organization that has demonstrated outstanding philanthropic commitment through fundraising efforts or community involvement benefiting Cape Cod and the Islands.
