Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands Elects Two New Board Members at Annual Meeting
YARMOUTH PORT, Mass, January 27, 2022 – The Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands (PPCI) is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its volunteer Board of Directors: Jennifer Bryant of the Cape Cod Fisherman’s Alliance, and Beth Howard of Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation. The two professionals involved in our nonprofit community were voted in during the PPCI annual meeting held virtually on Thursday, January 27th. Each will serve a three-year term.
Jennifer Curran Bryant is the Director of Development at Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance. Jennifer is a 3rd generation Cape Codder – raised in Eastham and currently resides in Brewster. She feels fortunate to have grown up on Cape Cod, and to have raised her two grown daughters here as well. She earned her B.S. in Child and Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire and went on to work for various child welfare programs like Head Start and the Division for Children and Families. Seeing the constant need for funding at the various nonprofits she was involved with, Jennifer shifted her focus to fundraising. She enjoys bringing together people and resources to build a strong community. Jennifer joined the Fishermen’s Alliance in February of 2019 and her primary responsibilities include event management, community partnerships, major gifts and foundation relations.
Beth Howard is the Manager of Annual Giving at Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation. She has many years of membership and development experience, mostly in the arts and has previously worked for Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Sesame Street Live, the Minnesota Orchestra, the Arden Theatre Company, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Heritage Museums & Gardens. For the past four years, Beth has worked in healthcare philanthropy at the Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation, where she focuses on annual giving campaigns, grateful patient programs, donor upgrades, donor stewardship and capital campaigns. Beth lives in East Sandwich with her husband, Kevin, and enjoys gardening, beaching, golf, tennis, and her latest sport obsession is pickleball.
Also, during the annual meeting the following board members were re-elected for one-year terms as PPCI Officers: President, Christopher Ellis of Community Health Center; Vice-President Education, Jennifer Cummings of Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation; Vice-President Marketing & Membership, Cyndy Cotton, CFRE of Osterville Village Library; Treasurer, Vanessa Greene of Cape Cod 5; Secretary, Rosemarie Resnik of Rosemarie Resnik and Associates, Inc.; and Immediate Past President, Sarah Tribuzio of Decatur House.
