Friends of Bass River (FOBR), a non-profit dedicated to preserving the endangered Bass River Watershed on Cape Cod seeks a professional to create, implement and manage a strong, sustainable fundraising plan designed to invigorate current donors, solicit new fundraising sources, and actively engage the local business community. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with impeccable communication and organizational skills and has a passion for face-to-face and written influencing. Prior experience mounting compelling fundraising campaigns, a willingness to “friendraise” on a neighborhood level, and the ability to excite, train and manage fundraising volunteers is critical. The Development Director will initiate and oversee all fundraising events and activities for the organization including the development and nurturing of a diverse donor network, and the creation of a rigorous community & business outreach.
