Cape & Islands United Way will honor executive director of the Family Pantry of Cape Cod
Christine Menard, the executive director of the Family Pantry of Cape Cod, is being recognized for her work with the Community Spirit award presented by the Cape and Islands United Way, a nonprofit organization on a mission to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our communities to advance the common good on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket.
Presentation of the award will be a part of the annual Power of the Purse event on Oct. 16 at the Hyannisport Club, hosted by Women United, an affiliate group of the Cape and Islands United Way. The award recognizes and celebrates women who are making a difference working in the nonprofit sector.
